Fenghuang Tea Village is located in Fenghuang Community, Taian Town, Wanzhou District, where there are thousands of valleys and valleys with an altitude of 800— 1060 meters, misty all the year round, moist and germinated, most suitable for planting alpine tea. Legend has it that "Old Tea Beam" is the origin of tribute tea in the Tang Dynasty, and the tea culture is rich. Mou Zhongtai, a famous official in the Ming Dynasty, once cultivated land here to grow tea. Most local villagers grow tea for a living, but many people go out to work because of their small planting scale, backward technology and low income.

In 2016, the town helped to introduce Chongqing Jiufeng Tourism Development Co., Ltd., expand and manage thousands of acres of tea gardens, build new tea processing plants with advanced facilities, and introduce fine tea production and processing equipment.
Abandoning the backward production technology, the tea garden has been planted and processed according to the European standard EU and American standard NOP organic tea standards since 2016: 100% organic fertilizer, zero pesticide use, artificial physical methods to remove insects and weeds, and stay away from pollution.

In May, 2019, 580 organic indicators were qualified by the authoritative testing institutions in the European Union. The tea garden was awarded the EU and US NOP organic product certification certificate by CERES, the authoritative organic product certification institution in the European Union, and was named as the European and American organic tea production base.
The "Old Tea Beam" Three Gorges Silver Needle series products produced by tea garden are "Chinese Geographical Indications Products", which won the first prize of "Chinese Tea Cup" of China Tea Association and the top ten Chongqing tea brands, enjoying a good reputation in Bayu and exported to Europe and America.

Cho Tak Lau, a 42-year-old native of Taian Town, had been working in Guangdong before. When he heard that there were employment opportunities at his doorstep, he immediately returned home. "Working at home plus dividends, the annual income is more than 30,000, and more importantly, I can accompany my children and take care of my family." Cho Tak Lau said, "At present, 60% of the people working outside the village have come back."
According to Liu Youming, the mayor of Taian Town, Wanzhou District, after actively carrying out the pilot reform of "three changes", Fenghuang Community transferred the tea garden of the original Duanjia Village to the community at the price of 16,000 yuan per mu for 70 years, and the community signed a shareholding contract with the tourism company, effectively transforming the green mountains and green hills into Jinshan Yinshan, showing a "win-win" situation in which farmers got rid of poverty and increased their income, the village collective economy grew and enterprises developed. The community collective pays a guaranteed dividend of 100,000 yuan per year, and all shareholders in the community receive a dividend of 2 taels of tea in kind each year, and solve the problem of 68 people working for a long time and 8,000 times a year, among which the income of 220 poor households in Fenghuang, Fallon and other towns is 378,000 yuan.
Every year around the Qingming Festival, the Phoenix Huaguoshan Tea-picking Festival with the theme of "going for a walk to experience tea-picking and enjoying the Three Gorges Silver Needle" will be held here. Many tourists will visit the beautiful tea village, learn tea-making techniques, participate in tea-picking competitions, experience the fun of tea-picking, listen to folk songs duets on the tea mountain and enjoy the tea village culture around them.
Today, there are more than 20 hills, nine ditches and ten beams on the Phoenix Mountain, and a ridge of tea trees can be seen everywhere. Sitting idle in the farmhouse, a tea affair, a period of time, and a strong tea country style make people intoxicated and don’t know where to go.
